GraceHead vs. LawHead 16 - (the unspectacular)

LawHead teaching emphasizes the big/spectacular things. You can expect to hear bold testimony. Name it and claim it. Blab it and grab it. I did this, I did that. I had great faith and this is what I received. Wonderful stories about life-changing dramatic and supernatural giant events.

GraceHead teaching focusing on abiding in Christ is the exact opposite. Success for the spiritual disciple is in the small/insignificant things in life. Do you have a kind word for the people around you? Can you resist being defensive? When someone cuts in line or spills something on you out of carelessness ... when you are treated with disrespect, does that take you to the bad-place or can you rise above it? When you mate has failed you, can you still hug them and kiss them, or do you resort to manipulation and shame?

But most of the abundance of life is found in the small things not the big things. I can get on with life if I do not have a new truck. Anyone can. But how are you coping with the new scratch on the piece of crap that you currently drive? If GraceHead teaching can bring you to the place where the little things don't send you in the downward spiral, then you can really enjoy more of life.
