The Lord has made me quiet and timid of speech as He fills me with awareness of this present time. We are on the precipice of irrevocable change and the words of free expression will not much longer be spoken without penalty and price. These are dangerous days that appear to become more dangerous than any of us are capable of imagining.
Great fissures are beginning to appear in this globalized community in which we all live. They are not new fractures but instead, old and even ancient enmities that now relate one to another over vast distances as one influences the other due to the global economy and the thirst for the oil that drives it. We are One World but the peoples of this One World are bitterly divided.
Jerusalem is the very navel of this unified yet divided planet. What affects her affects all and she is now surrounded by her enemies. The United States has for a long time protected her but it appears that the Bush administration is about to lift that hand of protection. On November 15, 2007 Condaleeza Rice with the guidance of James Baker is set to meet with Israeli and Palestinian leaders for peace negotiations in Annapolis, Maryland. Israel must meet the condition of giving over control of the Temple Mount before they will even be allowed to sit at the table of negotiation. They will also be asked to give over control of Judea and Samaria. This is in effect the dismantling of Israel.
Pray for Israel and pray also for our leaders that they might be turned away from taking part in this great sin toward Israel that God might also spare our nation.
May God grant to those who are faithful to Him the strength to endure until the end. Amen.
