I Belong To Jesus

Though Trent is my dear little brother, someone through whom Christ has spoken to me about many things over these many years, I am not a follower of the teachings of Trent. Though Timothy is called prophet and speaks of many things that God has also shown me, I also am not a follower of Timothy and submit myself only to that which God has personally revealed to me in Christ Jesus. Though there have been and continue to be many good teachers and preachers in my daily life, through whom God chooses to speak, none of them are other than my brothers and sisters in Christ. No matter our placement within the body there is only one Head and that is none other than Jesus. I can follow no other direction than that which is the direction of Jesus and within the body that is called Christ, I can only work in unison with those who also receive their direction from Him.

I do not write to promote any theology, or philosophy, nor do I seek to fan the winds of doctrine that continually blow. I am but an ambassador for Christ, appointed by Him to declare to all that sins are counted no more for Christ Jesus, the only begotten Son of God, has shed His blood to cover all of the sins of all men and women that all might be reconciled to God. Receive Jesus and receive Life. Receive Jesus and know God and continue to walk hand in hand with Him for the remainder of your days and beyond into eternity. Amen.

Yes. Without a doubt: THAT is the bottomline.

I would say the people who have contributed the most to my being challenged to "go higher spiritually" would be Trent, yourself, Timothy, and (believe it or not) adelpit346. (because of his unique perspective and perseverance in his vision and mission).

Truth is, (as you already know), EVERYONE is (to some extent) a challenge and a test. - all the better to learn how to walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh (or carnal mind).

Thanks for the exhortation, Pam. Hope you are doing very well with your health-needs. Have things improved? ... or pretty much the same?

all the best and GOD bless.

Morning Len,
Thanks for asking. I do fairly well some days and not so well on other days. I still love to work hard and there is still much expected of me and I often push too hard and then throw myself off balance. I have so many things wrong that when one thing gets out of whack, it takes the rest with it. They have found some more things wrong in my blood and I will see a hematologist on Wednesday and then I am also scheduled for an endoscopy on the 23.

Actually, the hardest thing is trying to stay warm enough and dealing with the isolation that brings into my life. I know that sounds funny in July but refrigerated air does not go well with being an iguana woman.:0) I thought having to quit eating sugar was hard but this is handicapping. Thankfully, Jesus is right here with me and I can't imagine going through any of it without Him.

Pam

p.s. Len, I'm also thankful that the words God presses upon me to write are and encouragement to you. I'm really nothing special though just another bumbler and stumbler but the way Jesus continues with me through all of my stumbling and bumbling is truly amazing!:)

Jason,

Thanks for the compassion it is a great blessing and something that I see flowing from you continually. I am glad that you have not succumbed to the uniformity of religion for in you, I see Christ as He only could be formed in you.

I have good days and not so good days but God is good in all of them. Every new diagnosis is another bitter pill to swallow but then I go on and will continue to in all of the days that God has penned as my life.

Hi Dennis,

Yes, I agree that it is the Holy Spirit that gives us discernment. Also, the scriptures themselves are provided to ground us in truth for we all have some unsoundness remaining in us and it is through spiritual discernment and and scriptural testing that we are able to discern that which is from God and that which is from man.
