Safety

Psalm 139:7-12 Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the morning, And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, Even there Your hand shall lead me, And Your right hand shall hold me. If I say, "Surely the darkness shall fall on me," Even the night shall be light about me; Indeed, the darkness shall not hide from You, But the night shines as the day; The darkness and the light are both alike to You.

Amen. Nothing can separate us from the love of God for those of us in Christ, His Right Hand.

Romans 8:38-39
38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor other heavenly rulers, neither what exists nor what is coming, 39 neither powers above nor powers below, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God which comes to us through the Messiah Yeshua (Jesus Christ), our Lord.

*May I make a important distinction regarding verse 8:

*If you make your bed in "hell" God is not with you, for "hell" does not exist. Yet if you make your bed in "hell"fire, which IS real you are consumed and forever separated from God and life...the second death.

Therefore, the Lord must be with us even in "sleep"(death) as the Bible always refers to it... which is the grave or sh'ol.

Ps 139:8 CJB
If I climb up to heaven, you are there; *if I lie down in Sh'ol, you are there.

Hi Timothy,

I started to change the NKJV translation to Sheol but then decided against it. Yes, even the grave can't separate us from God.

Behold the Lamb of God! Without spot or blemish sent to die for the sins of the world, bearing the full weight of transgression in His own body. My Son, you are, and will always be, the Risen Lamb of God, whereby you took the leaven of the world, having completely unleavened all men once for all time by your blood, having been the perfect sacrifice for sin, acceptable to God, whereby men have been reconciled to the Father; they themselves becoming once again My sons and daughters free to enter the Garden and My love, which they shall never again be separated; their new life lived in and for Christ Jesus, the Lord and Savior, in whom I am well pleased. ~ God [Letters from God and His Christ - Volume 5 - Unleavened]
