How to Tell That God Doesn't Care About You (satire)

by Trent - an adaptation of an inspired reply to a recent blog

Does God love us enough to be upset when warranted?

I am married, as you probably know. I love my wife. If another person, a known jerk, was messing around with her, and being coy, so she wasn't aware... and I was aware somehow... Then you could tell whether or not I love her. That would be evident by my response!

What would I say? How would I act? Would I let her wander into trouble, or would I speak loving distress at what I see happening, that she doesn't seem to be aware about? Would I care enough to shake her up to prevent a worse calamity?

You can tell that I love my wife, by how I react to such a problem ... I would be upset and disturbed and I would appeal to her.

The man that wouldn't say anything would demonstrate a lack of love.

Likewise, harsh words in the context of the Lord's beloved wandering into a vexation and seduction of an enemy, is a sign of God's love. Without it, I could only assume that God does not love us, nor does he care.

The religiously trained churchgoers are not likely to share this viewpoint at first glance, because of the poisonous teaching of the church. The church teaching makes it seem that we should shape-up to earn God's love. They make God out to be disappointed if we don't jump through hoops. It is as though He found us not worthy of His love whenever we misbehave.

This could not be further from the truth.

In fact, the opposite is true.

Yes, we stumble often. Yet... God loves us so dearly and is so jealous for us, to lead us away from harm, and into His everlasting arms, that He cannot stay quiet when our enemy seduces us away from Him. Any groom that loves their bride understands this. Lets allow ourselves to let go of our religious indoctrination, and embrace all that is from God as from a jealous lover, loving us with "the greatest of all loves."

When God starts saying "its alright", ... "no biggie"... when evil takes hold of us unawares. At that instant, you can be sure that God doesn't really care about you.

It won't happen.

God could not love you more, and He will not love you less. His is "The Greatest of All Loves."

Great post Trent.
I'll be sure and read it later to insure my correctness of your greatness, but as m'lord knows I am never wrong in the Lord.
God bless you,
BroMark

(on your "freeze us" hint bro- a little over 300 years ago Satan made good on his promise(demonic curse)in the Garden of Gesthemane insuring His name would be changed from Yesu the Christ to at least rhyme with your hint. I was blocked from posting until I bowed to this site doctrine. The English perversion is Satan's glory. I can argue "with" anyone that chooses to go against this truth and argue "with" them under the precious blood of Jesus. luv ya bro. bro)

Hint: the version of the name is the English version, not the Hebrew way to say His name. All letters are uppercase. Rhymes with "freeze us."

Beloved, why do you ask of your sins and their forgiveness? Do you not know they were forgiven before the foundation of the earth through My Son, the Christ. For He knew you then and knows you yet still. For I have forgiven you, yet you have not. Confess all in your heart, and feel My presence, and My forgiveness will come into you and give you peace. ~ God [Letters from God and His Christ - Volume 1 - Open Your Heart to the Lord, and He Will Give You Rest]
