Come! Enter The Kingdom!

John10:1 "I tell you the truth, the man who does not enter the sheep pen by the gate, but climbs in some other way, is a thief and a robber.

John 10:9 I am the gate; whoever enters through Me will be saved.

Isaiah 9:1-7 Nevertheless, there will be no more gloom for those who were in distress. In the past He humbled the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, but in the future he will honor Galilee of the Gentiles, by the way of the sea, along the Jordan-

The people walking in darkness have seen a great Light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a Light has dawned.
You have enlarged the nation and increased their joy;
they rejoice before You as people rejoice at the harvest,
as men rejoice when dividing the plunder.
For as in the day of Midian's defeat, You have shattered the yoke that burdens them, the bar across their shoulders, the rod of their oppressor.
Every warrior's boot used in battle and every garment rolled in blood will be destined for burning, will be fuel for the fire.
For to us a child is born, to us a Son is given, and the government will be upon His shoulders.
And He will be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end.
He will reign on David's throne and over His kingdom, establishing it and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this.

I was once a young woman who walked in darkness, suffering the bondage of my sin. God in His Mercy revealed Jesus to me, that great Light of the world and the rod of my oppressor was shattered. I ceased to live according to the prince of this world, Satan; but began to live according to God as the governance of my life was settled firmly upon the shoulders of Jesus Christ. In that moment that I believed in Jesus as the Son of God and my Savior, I entered the Kingdom of God through the only gate that entrance is possible, I entered the Kingdom through Jesus. As the darkness in me has been turned to Light so too has my sorrow been turned to joy as daily I rejoice before the LORD for all that he has done to include a Gentile sinner such as I in the Kingdom that He has prepared for His own holy and chosen people, the Jews. Through Jesus, He has enlarged the nation of Israel that the Peace of God that I now have in Jesus might cover all the world.

Jesus is my King and I am a subject of His Kingdom and no longer a subject of the kingdoms of this world. Indeed, they no longer have any power over me and I do not fear them. They are of men and men live for only a short time. Instead, I fear the One Who is Eternal, Who will never die. Before Him only do I tremble with reverence and adoration as I have been made fully aware of His Majesty and Power through the pouring out of His Mercy and Grace over me, the blood of Jesus. The Kingdom that He has established in blood of His Only Begotten Son will never fall but will increase to fill the earth with His Peace in a Kingdom upheld with justice in righteousness. A Kingdom in which war will be forgotten as men will no longer live according to their own desires but by the very Word of God. All will live according to Jesus as He sits upon the Throne of David and also upon the throne of every human heart as He now sits upon the throne of my own heart.

John 10:2-5 "The Man who enters by the gate is the Shepherd of His sheep. The watchman opens the gate for Him, and the sheep listen to His voice. He calls His own sheep by name and leads them out. When He has brought out all His own, He goes ahead of them, and His sheep follow Him because they know His voice. But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger's voice.

John 10:14 "I am the Good Shedpherd; I know My sheep and My sheep know Me-- just as the Father knows Me and I know the Father--and I lay down My life for the sheep.

Jesus is the Cornerstone and the Foundation of the Kingdom of God. Though all the world cries out for peace and all men war with one another seeking after peace according to their own desire, they will never find it. Peace and safety cannot come to a world where man rules over man for God only is worthy and able to govern man. Man's practice of warring for peace can only lead to total destruction but God's Mercy endures forever and He will be faithful to intervene. Soon God will intervene in the affairs of men and put an end to all the methods man employs in self-governance. He will also put to death that in man which desires to raise himself to be as God and rule over others. We are soon entering another age and another work of the Holy Spirit. There are yet a few moments left in this present age of Grace in which Jesus is calling to His sheep, gathering them to Himself and to the Kingdom which is at hand. Those of us who recognize His voice, both Jew and Gentile, may enter that Kingdom now. If He is calling to you, do not tarry, come quickly. Soon will come the final preparation for the full establishment of the Kingdom upon the earth. It will be a time of great destruction as the pride of man and all the institutions he has erected in the place of God will be thoroughly destroyed along with all those who have loved them and grown rich by them. Do not walk but run to Jesus! He is waiting with open arms longing to embrace and protect and glorify all who are called according to His Name.

John 10:27 My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow Me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of My hand. My Father, Who has given them to Me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand. I and the Father are One.

In Jesus is the Kingdom and the Kingdom lives in those in whom Jesus dwells. Soon we will be taken up and glorified as Jesus is glorified. We will return with Jesus and all the earth, made desolate and barren by the power of sin and death, will be swallowed up by the Kingdom of God. The eternal life that now fills us will be poured out upon the earth and sin and death will be destroyed by the Power of the Righteous Rule of Jesus Christ! He Who died and rose again has become the God of the living and the dead. Pain and sorrow remembered no more! Oh, child of God, this is our substantive hope made sure in the Living God Who rules over all!

Pam,

What a great perspective. We really are astonished at all He has done for us, and our sorrow and gloom gives way to joy. All this trouble, even that of the last week of the age, will serve God's purpose to bring about joy in the hearts of His children, and astonishment will never cease.

Thanks for the reminder. God is so good to me.

Beloved of the Lord and boasting of Him, Trent

Trent,

God is preparing the way. All is being swept clean in preparation for the Kingdom that will supplant the kingdoms of this world. The joy we have as eternal subjects in that eternal Kingdom will fill to overflowing any void created through the sufferings of this present age.:0)

Pam

p.s. Thanks for teaching me how to customize my computer. It has helped a lot and Petie says to tell you thank you also.

Servants, stand up! says the Lord of Hosts. Stand up for Me, and I, even I, shall feed you with knowledge and understanding...the Word of God as your drink, and the knowledge of the Lord as your meat...you shall sing and you shall stand up, you shall shout with a new voice in the face of adversity. And in that very same day, you shall be gone, you shall surely be taken and be found no more in the earth...eternal joy and all tears wiped away in the presence of the Lord, your Redeemer, is your reward, and it shall never again depart from you, says the Lord.
