GraceHead vs. LawHead 14 (equality)
One of the things that stinks about LawHead teaching is the persistent hierarchy that is presented. LawHead teachers are unbelieving teachers that always points to what they have that you don’t. "Look at how I have memorized scripture." "Look at my divinity education." "Look at my spiritual gifts." "I've done more then you, so I am above you and you are under me. If you do as I say or follow my example then one day you might be able to attain to the level of spirituality that I have achieved." Sound familiar?
But, the thing that I like about GraceHead teaching is that it always points to equality. GraceHead truth will emphasize that the redeemed are all complete in Christ, with nothing lacking. It will emphasize the acknowledgement of what you already are, not trying to make it seem like you could ever need more then Christ as your Savior.
A pastor had a good answer as to why the churched with which he served were so mature and spiritual. He said, "I hold a crown over each one's head and let them grow into it."
Did you know that when you hold a boy, that you are holding a man? If you can't see that, then that is your problem. Faith sheds the constraints of time and will see fullness of what really is. An oak is an oak. You might be an oak ankle high, or you might be an oak towering overhead, but you are still an oak. Whereas LawHead instruction makes you feel like a weed turning into an oak.
