Universalism = Salvation by works?

Spiritual birth, like physical birth, isn't ultimately done by will of the child. It is the untimate fore-will of the parents that leads to birth of any sort.

John 6:37
" All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out."

John 17:5-10
"Now, Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was. I have manifested Your name to the men whom You gave Me out of the world; they were Yours and You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word. Now they have come to know that everything You have given Me is from You ... I ask on their behalf; I do not ask on behalf of the world, but of those whom You have given Me for they are Yours and all things that are Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine; and I have been glorified in them."

For the pleasure of the Son, the Father fashioned some souls to be willing. These are the ones that were fore-known ... even before the foundation of the world. By the Spirit, they have always been KNOWN within the limits of Eternity, because the substance of their being is willing to take the seed of the Spirit and transcend creation by the Spirit to extend past the last day, and even to extend into Eternity (which by the absolution of God's being is always the same - forever.)

An illusion is that which is not really there. It only appears to be there for a while. This is what every human soul's identity is.

5 days of creation existed before the first human soul. Thus, nobody could ever logically forward the notion that any human soul is eternal by default. If a soul was eternal, then how could five days pass before eternity? Eternity presumes that nothing took place before it. Eternity is the beginning and the end - every moment all at once.

New Age thinking has corrupted what is plain in scripture ... that every human soul is in need of Eternal Life. EVEN ADAM! If Adam did not need Eternal life, then how is it that he did not exist before day 6? If Adam did not need Eternal life, then howbeit that he would have need for the "Tree of Life." Rather then need the Tree of Life, Adam would BE a tree of life, like a fountain of living water. Rather, man BY default (and apart from the grace of God) is a black-hole and has no real life in them.

We are like branches in a vase. We have the illusion of life, but suffer steady decay. All of life points to a glory of man that is fading. Our bones ache, our sight leaves, and even our mind falters, as we head ever closer to our return to dust. But, salvation is when you take a branch and transplant it into a living vine. The Life of the vine infuses the dead branch, and what is true about the Vine becomes true for the branch. If the vine is healthy, then the branch is given that attribute, and eventually will begin to manifest that reality. If the vine is sick, then the branch will likewise become sickly.

The life we receive is more then "healthy" ... it is HOLY, and RIGHTEOUS, and ETERNAL, and PERFECT. All of those things that are true about the Vine are my true condition, and over the years, it has begun to be manifest to the glory of the Vine. (not that I am adequate in myself to say that anything is coming from myself, but my adequacy is from God.)

Which branch are you, the one in the vase, or the one that is grafted onto the Vine?
