Child of God, Here’s the Proof You are a Loved & Legitimate Family Member!

| You were once Jew, or Gentile [or a Samaritan mix] coming from different families, but now you’re in one family – God’s. | John 11:51-52 … but being high priest that year he prophesied that Jesus would die for the nation, and not for that nation only, but also that He would gather together in one, the children of God who were scattered abroad. |
| The Father has called you His child because He loves you. | 1 John 3:1 Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. |
| The Holy Spirit testifies you are His child. | Romans 8:16 - The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, |
| You are a recipient of freedom. | Romans 8:21 … the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. |

| You are empowered to live a blameless & harmless life by the same faith in Jesus which saved you. | You are permanently brought into the family. Adopted children could never be disowned, only children by blood. | You can’t be disinherited from any of this because you have been given the same inheritance as the resurrected Jesus Christ. | Romans 8:17 - and if children, then heirs--heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. |
| There is a day that your body will catch up with your spirit. | 1 John 3:2 - Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. |
Let these verses sink deeper by reading the chart to yourself, replacing each ‘you’ and ‘your’ in the Reality column with your own name. If you find yourself doubting any of this, I recommend two options.
- Option 1: Tell Satan to “Beat It!“ And remind Him Jesus has prepared a much better place for you than for him. Realize that the Holy Spirit turned Satan’s lies against him by reminding you that you that you really are God’s child.
- Option 2: Check your own heart and determine if you really are trusting Jesus for your salvation. If you A) are trusting Him, go back to Option1. If you’re B ) not certain, settle that issue in your heart right now. BELIEVE ON THE RESURRECTED JESUS CHRIST ALONE to save you from the wages of sin, death, AND give you eternal life – His very, own Life (Romans 5:10).
