Is this a rant? Really, I think you should send it in to Leno.

When I was a kid, I never believed in Santa. No matter what the grownups said. Then when I was five they took me to visit him and so having seen him, I decided that I was wrong and that I should 'believe' in him. Then they told me he wasn't real.

I always told my kids that it was a game and that he wasn't real. They did want to go up and sit on his lap once and they weren't afraid but I think the little one peed on him so I think that Santa probably came away thinking that it is the little kids that are evil!

Actually, it is the imaginings of the human heart that are continually evil and Santa is a product of those imaginings. As always, the human heart is the place to go if one desires to put an end to evil and the only way to rid the human heart of evil is to change it. Only God can change the human heart and He sent His Son, Jesus to do just that. How much better to teach our children of Jesus, to believe in Him, and when He is revealed to them what we have taught will be confirmed by them to be true and not a lie that we must somehow, take back.

I say, keep Christ in every day including the 25th of December. There is no better way to live daily than in the Truth.
