Trent, buddy! Enlighten me, man! Why do so little people seem to know about the so called peace treaty in 2007 between someone and Israel? Why have we not heard of this before? Would that not put us in the Tribulation period already? Or did I miss something right in front of my eyes!! Show me where you learned all this from. Most of the world is still waiting for that event to happen, yet you say it happened January 2007. Clarify you'self young man! I will have to keep my outer cochlears off all day now to hear the Spirit in the silence of my world. Thanks! smiles

P.S. Forgot if I asked the question earlier if many know about this. Should I feel skeptical about all this or just keep my heart and spirit open while you'se prays to the Lord up in Heaven to enlighten this old coot. smiles. It could have all happened already, and that is all I knows.

The first went into effect in 2000.
The RECONFIRMED and STRENGTHENED one went into effect on January 1, 2007 for a 7 year period which is set for midterm review in mid 2010.

It is A treaty ... and we expect more treaties, don't we? But we know that these treaties will be broken about the time that this 2007 treaty expires ... that is, it will be broken in 2014 (about 3.5 year after the rapture)

You can probably guess why all of this is kept from our news media outlets.

The antchri_t will "confirm" an agreement already set up and put it into action and then break it at the midpoint.

Hey buddy! When I posted my comment I was just kind of taking the "spot" so to say of the Christian skeptics. I thought you might pick up on my role playing and respond accordingly. I am not challenging your statements. I am seeking the Lord's guidance on all this. Nothing mo' nothing less.

I hear daily people talking about this man who signs a peace treaty with Israel for seven years and then breaks it in the middle of that seven years. They talk of that as yet to come. Now--this site shows it has already happened. It simply lets this guy know the Lord might be a little bit sneaky in all this to those searching for this sign.

I can just see it now: Christians are looking and searching and suddenly without notice, the peace treaty is signed with Israel and two years later--the Christians are still looking for that sign. Now this is a very probable possibility! LOL

Timothy, my brother--I know those scriptures. Remember: I ask questions to help understand things. Let me clarify another way:

Prophecies show a man of perdition disguised as the Good Guy will sign a peace treaty with Israel for 7 years and then break that treaty in the middle of the 7 years. I have heard many talk of when this happens, know the tribulation period has started.

Now, you show that peace treaty was indeed signed in 2007. I have no problem accepting this. But I sure would like to be enlightened on it from this point on!

Trent, I just assumed you would know I was "role playing" in my questions to you. I was not trying to put down or anything like that. My main comment was simply, "Wow!"

So Timothy and Trent --listen: I am a simple seeker like you guys are. Now if you know something I don't know, by all means let me know about it. In your opinions, where do we stand right now? Are we in the Tribulation Period or is that yet to start? Does the signing of the 7 year false peace treaty signify the start of the Tribulation period or is that a false teaching?

I have been taught--when you see three things happening-this is how you know you are in those 7 years. A peace treaty has to be signed--a temple has to be rebuilt and animal sacrifices will start up again. and now my most puzzling question: If a 7 year peace treaty has been signed, why isn't Israel in peace for a short time? Just tell me what I am missing. And Trent, I promise not to "play challenge" you again. That way you can know where I am really coming from.

Honestly Charles, I didn't have much knowledge concerning all Trent posted. I only knew the anti would "confirm" a "week" long covenant. So the anti may be the first one to make it work...hence "confirm" it.

As far as the period we are in now: We are in the Day of the Lord now, the 10 days of sorrow(Rev 2:10) and the trib will be the last 7 years of this period. The first seals are already broken, which are the judgments of "letting"(2 Thessalonians 2) by the Lord. They are not the Lord's direct hand, but a "letting" of evil.
The rapture will happen at the fifth seal, but still after Russia, Iran and its cohorts attack Israel(Ezekiel 38).

Hello. It is late, but here I sit, in the warm glow if the Lord's presence, knowing that if I needed this time to rest, I would be resting ... and if I need to be rested by early tomorrow morning, then He will compress my sleeping time to make it sufficient that I might awaken rested as though I had slept far more than the clock has shown. I know these things because I can hardly count the times it has already happened before.

So, I have no fear writing in the wee hours of the night to you, my friends!

Remember in these things of the last days, that I am lost without inspiration. For many years, my ears were deaf to the things of the end times, and I have told you about my experience of having a veil over my head when the topic came up. Only recently, have I been able to hear or think of these things in the effortless flow of knowledge that can ONLY be attributed to the working of the Holy Spirit. Truly, we are all inferior in contemplating these things without divine empowerment.

Still, most of my understanding is based upon meditation and revelation, to which I have found the scriptures agree in full ... and even agree in sublime simplicity.

One thing that is NOT REVEALED to me in full is what is written where the contract will be broken at the mid-point of the seven years.

I guess we just need to process that a 7 year contract was signed ... maybe another contract is forthcoming. It should be known that alot of things done in the EU run on a 7 year basis by default. They tend to do things like this for 7 years at a time because their budget cycle is 7 years in duration (click link to see search results) ... with a half-way point for review.

It should also be known that the EU signs treaties like they are going out of style. Javier Solana, is an effective and tireless peace broker, arranging dozens of treaties every year ... many of which are 7 years long due to the aforementioned budget cycle.

Haha .. .I can see that slipping by many church-goers for many reasons ... like the dearth of news reporting on the EU actions, and especially Javier Solana's actions. Secondly, most people don't want to think about the Lord's return, because they fear it ... and by the fear reveal that they know they are not walking in a way befitting their calling. Lastly, because alot of Christian teaching is uninspired and simple regurgitation of old thoughts from centuries past, instead of fresh enlightenment by the Spirit as to what is meant by the words in our scriptures.

The wise will look foolish, so let us be as a fool that lays aside our preconceived notions ... and lean not upon our understanding ... and with ears cupped and eyes wide open receive what the Lord would have us know about these things and tell one another. And with that ... I ask you ... what has the Lord shown you about these things? I'm all ears.

I'm confused. I thought we are supposed to walk by faith and not according to signs. I do read the signs of the times but I don't live my life trusting in what I see happening in the world. Many saints in the past have done so and if I had lived in the time they lived, I probably would have read the signs exactly as they did but the time was not yet appointed and they erred when they decided their actions by their own calculations of event. Such as the early seventh day aventists stopping everything and sitting down waiting for the Rapture that did not come. Centuries before them the Montanists did the same thing. Even the Puritans who came to the U.S. to escape persection thought that the millenium was upon them and in this new land, God was establishing His kingdom on earth.

Either you have misread me or I misspoke. If I would have lived during those times, I would have read the signs exactly as they read them. They were not wrong in that. It is when we focus on those signs rather than upon Jesus that we can get things skewed. The signs that we are reading now were present in part during every part of the age of grace. The 'end times' began when Jesus ascended into heaven. For example, if I lived during the time when the Catholics ruled half of the world and the Ottomans the other half, I am sure I would have seen that global government much in the same way I see the one that is forming now. They were not wrong in seeing the Pope as the antichrist for he is an antichrist. They also had to contend with the same false prophet that we are contending with today. If I had lived during the Black Death, I am sure I would have viewed it as the plagues from the book of Revelation as many saints did in those days. They were not wrong in their assessment of the times being the end time for it was and it still is; what they could not be sure of is the time God has appointed to His own intervention, the moment when He calls a halt to it all.

The point I was trying to make is that we are to live through this time in the same way we have lived through any other time, bad and good, by faith with our eyes upon Jesus. There is no planning for this. We have to trust God moment by moment to lead us and provide for our needs.

I am sorry if I insulted you. I was too casual in my expression and should have been more careful of my wording. I am not stopping my ears nor am I coverning my eyes I just want my eyes to be on Jesus and my ears tuned to His voice alone. That is the only preparation for what lies ahead that is worthy of my time.
