Information is powerless

Is knowing how to live better the key to better living? Are you doing everything that you know to be right?

When AIDS came to America, they decided that education and information would get rid of the problem. Hey, if they know better, then they won't let is spread. So, how is that working out? Did education and information solve the problem? Everyone knows what spreads the disease, so why isn't it contained? Is information the key?

I am thrilled that Jesus didn't just bring a teaching. He is the content of the message.

I am excited that Jesus did not show the way. He is the way.

I am glad that Jesus did not inform us of the Truth. He is the Truth.

How do you see Christianity? Is it a teaching or the life of God?

An idol is anything that we run to except for God when we are facing trouble, calamity, or distress. Education / information does not help in times of pressure. But, we have something much more then information.

John 5
39"You have your heads in your Bibles constantly because you think you'll find eternal life there. But you miss the forest for the trees. These Scriptures are all about me! 40And here I am, standing right before you, and you aren't willing to receive from me the life you say you want.

Absolutely! What is great about our salvation in Christ is that God is always involved in our lives, even in our education. "But the anointing which ye have received of Him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you all things, and is Truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in Him." 1 John 2:27

So even if we run to the wrong thing, God is right here with us, pruning out what needs prunning out, refining where refining is needed, and shepherding us to walk in the paths of righteousness! He is as actively involved in our lives, and even more so, than we are.

We are blessed in the power of Jesus' might!

Thanks for sharing that verse. It is exactly what I'm talking about. It is a blessing for which I am grateful to God ... To be deeply understood by you.

Thank you for highlighting all the things that He is doing, over and against whatever pathetic things that we might be up to.

Ripening for the harvest,
