about that for which we can "know perfectly"

What will it be like to be left behind during the seven years of great tribulation? What if you saw dozens (if not hundreds) of people and children, that you knew personally, were raptured and taken out of the trouble that you are going to face? What would the voice of satan and his allies whisper to you to bring you to despair?

"You are forsaken. There is no hope for you." he would tell you, "You might as well give up, for God has left you and wants nothing to do with you. He didn't even talk about you, who remain, in the Bible except to describe what plagues He will inflict upon you ... the worst plagues known to men."

You can imagine how the enemy would take the opportunity to suffocate everyone in deep, dark, depression. All hope would appear to be gone. Unless, of course, God goes to extraordinary means to set the record straight.

What if God, knowing what is about to take place, makes a way ... and writes a book for the sake of those that are willing to lay aside their rebellion and hold the hand of the Lord Jesus during those seven years? Wouldn't a loving God goto extreme measures to express His love for those that are willing to turn from the world and embrace the Gift? Wouldn't He at least give them something of substance to hold on to and embrace as evidence ... undeniable evidence ... that they are not without hope ... and it is not too late? Doesn't it make sense that He would send 144,000 + 2 Spirit-Filled servants into the world to gather those that would humble themselves in full repentance and sweet devotion to the Lord?

I'm saying that I see something. A vision of understanding was given to me as I drove in my truck Monday night. There is a view of things that are currently happening, and that perspective is from the Lord. I'm trying to share it, but I doubt many will understand.

Let me speak clearly so that there is a greater chance that I can explain.

Soon (around 2018) a generation will pass since the establishment of Israel in 1948. Seven years before (before 2012) that generation passes, the elect of God will be rescued from the earth, and taken as the Bride of the Lord Jesus in a single moment that will rock the world. Babies and children will disappear and mothers will wail. Those of the light, who have been salt and light to the world will be gone, and the world will plunge into darkness and despair. However, a bright light is given for those remaining that are willing to turn to the Lord, and many servants will be sent out. The light I am speaking of is God's love letter and warning ... it is His trumpet. His trumpet is sounding in many ways, at least one of those ways is Trumpet Call Of God. Heed its warning, or ignore it to your own, and God's own bitter sorrow. If you are left, then find in it the comfort and reassurance that God's compassion remains for all those that turn to Him during the great tribulation.

1 Thessalonians 5:1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.
2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

It is not the time to be ignorant about that for which we should know perfectly.

Shalom Trent, Timothy, Emily, Pam, all you Graceheads.

Thanks for posting this word, Trent.

I have a question. Before we jump to conclusions, we should first verify that our theology about this is right. Trent (and Timothy), are we sure that Messiah will rapture up the righteous before the bad stuff starts happening (e.g. the tribulations, Jacob's trouble)?

God is certainly going to take us up with him at some point, Scripture supports this, that is for certain.

But will this happen before the tribulation?

I just don't see evidence in Scripture for the "rapture before the tribulation" thing. I think back to Noah - the righteous were the ones "left behind", not the unrighteous.

Can we talk about that? Are we sure this rapturing -- this being taken up with Messiah -- is going to happen before the tribulation? I'm unconvinced about the timing of this extraordinary event in history.

Be blessed in Messiah!

Judah, please go to TrumpetCallofGod.com and click on the "Bible/Letter study" icon (PDF) and then scroll down to the Rapture/Gathering up study on pages 108-128. Also see my note to you at the bottom of this comment.

Thus has the Lord spoken and so it shall be done:

As God is Three Aspects, All as One...So Too is the Coming of the Son of Man

10/7/05 - From God the Father - A Letter Given to Timothy, For All Those Who Have Ears to Hear

If the Son of Man comes in full power and glory, and every eye shall see Him, then how is He also come as a Thief?

Here is wisdom: The Son of Man comes at a day and hour unknown to spoil the house of the strong man. All that belongs to the Lord shall be taken, and all that belongs to the strong man, left.

The Son of Man first comes as Spirit, poured out on the nations, to call on His elect...then as the Thief to take them away. For those forgiven must be taken out to make the way open to the strong man's servant, so he may rule. Those, forgiven and fully converted in their hearts, have no place in judgment...they have passed from judgment into life.

When the Day of Troubles is concluded, and the Father's judgments carried out, then behold!...the Son of Man comes on the clouds, with the trumpet shout of God, in His raiment of power and great glory. When the thunder and lightning crashes, filling the heavens, and the sun, the moon, and the stars are darkened, and the glorious ensign separates the heavens before the eyes of all, then shall you know the Son of Man, the Lord of Lords, Christ Jesus, the Son of God who is come as God, shall appear!

The end is come, darkness destroyed, the strong man bound.
The Bright and Morning Star has risen...
the new Day begun.
His reign, a thousand years and forever after...
His seat taken.
Give praise, thanksgiving and worship...
The One True King has come!

I Will Take My People Out Of

10/7/05 - From God the Father - A Letter Given to Timothy, For All Those Who Say the Father Shall Not Gather Up His People Through Christ and Take Them Out of the Day of Troubles

Thus says the Lord to the churches:
You have misunderstood the Lord's purpose, and made His forgiveness of non-effect, and His judgment unjust. Woe, I say to you, you do greatly err.

Shall the Lord, your God lie to His prophets and give them false testimony?... Certainly not! Pray for yourselves, oh churches of arrogance, that you and all your members are not left standing upon the earth in bewilderment, when I, YES, EVEN I, send My Son to gather up His chosen flock and shelter them from My fury. You have read My Son's words, for they are also My words, and you have not heard nor understood. Repent, therefore, because of your pride and arrogance, and pray double for those that you have lead from the Truth of the forgiveness in Christ.

Behold... the angels ascend and descend upon the Son of Man.

Brother Judah, I know your question is a sincere one, as my brother in Messiah, so I will also paste some verses here at Gracehead tomorrow. But please also read all of the 'Gathering Up' study on my website. Then we can discuss this more. Thanks brother.

Abundant blessings in Messiah,
Timothy

Hey Trent,

My computer was down with AIDS and I didn't see this until now.

When I read this, I am reminded of all those Christians who went before who also read the signs of the times and saw the end of the age. They are derided for many of them quit whatever they were doing to sit and wait for the rapture but the time appointed for that gathering was not yet. However, they didn't misread the signs of the times and if I would have lived when they did, I'd still view it just as they did and as I do now that the time is near. Yet, they did err and in the same way that I have erred in the past by being so overcome by revelation of the times that I began to walk according to them but we are of the called out company and we are not to walk by sight (signs) but according to the Spirit. When we walk according to the Spirit, we are ready for that appointed day whenever the Father brings it about. Remember that Jesus said that He does not even know the time but the Father only. The endtimes began when Jesus ascended into Heaven and His return has been imminent ever since. God's time is not like the time we know as mortals and is not ours to fully discern but only ours to remain watchful and ready that when Jesus returns, He will find the faith still present upon the earth. That same faith that is Jesus and the walk that is by faith and not by sight.

I don't write this in judgment of what God may call another to do. That also is not mine to judge but I write this only as one who once gave way to walking according to sight and was returned to walking by faith. We all so want to see Jesus and to see the things we've read and heard of become flesh and they will but not before the time appointed by the Father and known only by Him.

Love In Christ,
Pam
