Careless Words and the Refiners Fire...

Matthew 12:36:
Moreover, I tell you this: on the Day of Judgment people will have to give account for every careless word they have spoken; ~ Jesus.

1 Corinthians 3:10-15:
Using the grace God gave me, I laid a foundation, like a skilled master-builder; and another man is building on it. But let each one be careful how he builds.

For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Yeshua the Messiah.

Some will use gold, silver or precious stones in building on this foundation; while others will use wood, grass or straw.

But each one's work will be shown for what it is; the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed by fire - the fire will test the quality of each one's work.

If the work someone has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward;

if it is burned up, he will have to bear the loss: he will still escape with his life, but it will be like escaping through a fire.

This is so very important to me because it is so true. Words and the lack of respect for what is said can cause so much hurt and damage.

When Jesus spoke in a manner of discipline to one or many He knew that one or those many so He knew what type of discipline they would learn from and humbly accept.

We do not know the person or persons heart we speak to unless of course God has given us understanding, so we need to make our words of discipline very carefully so as not to close the Soul of another as well as bring judgment down upon our own heads.

Jesus is perfect. We will be perfected, our lack of perfection now is such a hurtful sword sometimes when attempting to teach another.

Our Father in Heaven the only living God is the Alpha and Omega and because of that know all and can speak with perfection.

IMHO, but I could be wrong.

Be loved you are.
