Blood is odd

Blood requires air. blood
So if I tape your mouth shut, and nose shut, your blood that brings life, becomes poisonous.

What if your blood was self-sustaining. Then I could tape your mouth and nose shut, and no big deal. No poison. Life everlasting.
Maybe what we need to avoid death is self-sustaining blood. Maybe God knows this so He fills up a vessel of His own blood (the Lord Jesus) and lets us pierce Him, so that this blood flows forth ... and then we can drink this substance, and taking it into ourselves, whatever is true for the blood becomes true for us.

That would be good news, eh? Life eternal, by the blood of Jesus, Who alone brings to creation the self-sustaining Life of God.

I serve , the Lord.

Please enter the name of the Lord (the Risen One) into the entry area BEFORE clicking on the Send comment button.

Hint: the version of the name is the English version, not the Hebrew way to say His name. All letters are uppercase. Rhymes with "freeze us."
