What honor have any of us? All glory and honor to Jesus. That honor I extend toward you. Honor that is only mine or only yours as it is imputed to us through faith. I can control no other all I can say is take for yourself the same honor I cling to and give as you wish to receive; whether or not it is ever received as you desire. This is your cross to bear.

I love you and I weep for you, I pray for you, but I cannot take sides between brother against brother. I belong to Jesus and I am to remain on His side and love all my brothers and sisters equally. Listen to Jesus, He speaks to you in the special way you need to hear and will give you the answers that I can't give. Honor Him, put on His honor as you surrender your honor to Him. He will show you what to do.

I know it hurts but God will not allow me to take this hurt from you even if I could. If it were up to me and I could, I would. Jesus has allowed this in your life that you might learn what more you need to know of Him. I dare not stand between you and God.

This morning I awoke and God impressed me with these words for you.

Jesus taught that man cannot be defiled by that which he takes into himself but that man is defiled by what comes out of him. No matter what people say to us or about us in private can truly dishonor us in the eyes of God. He looks into our hearts and if Jesus is there all dishonor is covered. Also, nothing can separate us from the love of God. The judgments of men can't threaten us when we are in Jesus and He is in us. For the source of your dishonor, look to your own words and with the Lord search out your intent in them and God will show you how to restore honor and also your brothers to you.

Also, Proverbs teaches us that a man with many companions is predisposed for a fall; but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. That is only one friend, Jesus. Give all your loyalty to Him. He will give you only sound counsel.

Better question would be how religious influence could come to someone who hasn't been within the walls of a religious institution nor read a religious book before the Lord spoke to him, telling him to take up his pen and write these things ... that have a somewhat oldish-english wording (but not king-james-ish.)
Or ask yourself how important is the wording anyway ... for "take thee two unto thyself and two more, and thou shalt have four" has no less truth within it than "2+2=4"
Does it really suit us to ignore the truth and quibble over the package? Isn't this the very meaning of "vain disputes?"

Oh, you mean Paul's letters that are addressed to "saints" and those whom have "have been called by Yeshua the Messiah" and "everyone everywhere who calls on the name of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, their Lord as well as ours:" ... if so, then yes, bro ... Paul does not allude to any of God's judgment upon them, but rather those whom are not addressed in his letters.

2Th 2:10 - He will enable him to deceive, in all kinds of wicked ways, those who are headed for destruction because they would not receive the love of the truth that could have saved them.
2Th 3:2 - and that we may be rescued from wicked and evil people, for not everyone has trust.
Ro 1:18 - The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness,
Ro 2:5 - But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God's wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed.
Ro 2:8 - But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger.
Col 3:6 - Because of these, the wrath of God is coming.

It is worth understanding. But it is hardly out of reach for anybody that has a willingness to set aside their preconceived notions and read the Bible with open-minds. For God's grace is absolute to all those that believe upon Him, whom also have been changed from death to life ... and likewise is His wrath absolute against all those that have no willingness to call Jesus the Lord, and these are slaves to sin, having no hope (other than the Hope in Jesus whom they, themselves have rejected) to change their condition.
