The Character Of Jesus Christ

If you want to know what kind of Man Jesus is, you can read all about the values He holds and know the way He lives His life by going to the book of Deuteronomy and reading the Law. You will also read of Him in the Prophets and know God's purpose for His life in the Ordinances. Read these Laws in the affirmative for everything God tells us to do, Jesus does and everything God tells us not to do Jesus does not do. Jesus does not behave this way out of compulsion but obeys naturally, from the heart. Jesus is equipped to do so for He is the Son of God. The Law is of God Who is Spirit, it is Spiritual and Jesus is begotten by God and as the Son of God is also Spirit. This is what is required to keep the Law and the Ordinances. They cannot be kept by outward observance alone, they must be observed as a natural outpouring of the heart.

Jesus, in the living out of the Holy Ordinances of His Father, has actually become the sacrifice for our sin that covers our sin permanently. Since Jesus made this supreme sacrifice of His own blood, there is no longer any need for sacrifice. All barriers that hinder our relationship with God have been removed and the Way to God has been opened to all. Know the Truth, Jesus, see Who He is, and know that His sacrifice was for you. Receive faith. Believe. Receive Life that is eternal. Life made available to all who recognize Jesus. Life that lasts for all eternity, with no beginning and no end. Know fully the Love that is God and experience the new desire to please God. This desire that can only be accomplished in Jesus for without Him it is impossible to please God.

Grow in Jesus and as you grow, rejoice! The Law, which is Spiritual and to which you were once contrary to and condemned by, is being written in you heart, as the character of Jesus Christ also becomes your character. In Christ, that which was once unnatural to do has become natural for in Christ, we become Spiritual beings and enjoy an intimate relationship with God. The Law has no hold over those who are Spiritual and that which means death to carnal man has become the full expression of Love Who is God. Upon Love all the Law and the Prophets are hung and are fulfilled in Love.

This is the purpose of our faith that does not come from ouselves, from our own works, but is a gift of God in His Son, Christ Jesus. All to the glory of God! Amen.

Hi Jason,

I remember my personal hell and I thank God daily. Things still get rather hellish sometimes but as David said, "even if I should go down to Sheol, He is there" that is the difference. Jesus is always with me.

I thank God for you too, Jason and how God uses you in my life. Your down-to-earth simplicity and frank honesty are like a fresh wind blowing through my life.:) That and our conversations give me lots of fodder for blogging! tee!hee!
