A Greater Sacrifice Than Jesus' Crucifixion

CruxI do not speak with blasphemies, but understanding from the Lord ... I know what sacrifice is greater in the mind of God than even what sacrifice was of Himself upon Calvary. The gore and the loss that was sacrificed upon the cross is incalculable, but it is nothing compared to the greater sacrifice that never happened.

So great is this sacrifice that I speak of, (and that I will reveal to you) ... that even God found it too great to commit. He refuses to go through with it. And even what God gave completely at the cross is pleasant in His mind compared to this greater sacrifice.

Ready?

jesusExisting without you as His bride and the object of His love, is the greatest sacrifice.

That is it.

He wouldn't go through with it, and so He traded Himself on the cross, and did so with pleasure even in the agony was the joy set forth before Him, for it is with you and me and all those that willingly call Him "Lord" ... with us in His mind that He gladly endured all the torment.

Isaiah 53:10a
Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief.

What would displease Him is only that He could not do this for you, for it was in His mind to do this even before the world was created, as He saw the bride of His choosing - the one He would adorn with all of His love, holding nothing back.

Amen.

Any parent who has lost a child to the world can understand somewhat, the broken heart of God when sin came between God and his children. The yearning for their return to the same close communion that was shared in their younger days is like no other longing. No sacrifice is too great if it will bring them back.

Rebellion is a horribly destructive sin.

THE SACRIFICE OF LOVE and MERCY has placed us [rightly] in an eternal debt of gratitude and unending love to The One Who has loved us best and most.

Amen. !

I serve , the Lord.

Hint: the version of the name is the English version, not the Hebrew way to say His name. All letters are uppercase. Rhymes with "freeze us."
