On the day that Christ Jesus claims His bride she will not be adorned with veil and silk, braids and pearls, but with a gentle and quiet spirit. A spirit quieted and tamed by the patient and loving nurture of her Groom. She will appear not only beautiful but radiant in a simple white robe. A robe purchased and kept spotless by the pure shed blood of her Adored.
The bride's long waiting and watching will be over when heart-felt vows are fervently spoken. Then forever secured in His Love, she will lovingly and quietly attend to her Husband's every desire as upon spiritual consummation, they that have long been promised, are eternally joined as One.
What God puts together shall never be thrown asunder!
The obedient bride's every action (with no longer any desire to rise above Him) will in sacrificial love be protectively directed by her Beloved. The Spirit that now guides her will then fully move her. That Spirit that resides only in Him, as One in Spirit they will become.
Ephesians 5:22-25 Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church, and He is the Savior of the body. Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her.
