Isn't it wonderful to know that we have been grabbed hold of my the Savior and that our security is in Him and what He has done in our place and not in our performance related efforts or as Geo puts it...our stinking rags.

We have been apprehended by Love.

Hi Pam. I dont understand what you mean .Now I let go of faith and by faith,Jesus holds on to me. We are saved by grace through faith. Faith is a gift from God to enable me to place myself dependant on Him. For Gods righteousness is revealed to me from faith to faith. The just can only live by faith. The word says we have to be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live. The only way we can do that is by faith.I dont understand how you can let go of faith and still experience His life. You will have to help me see ,where Iam not seeing.I love Jesus all the time. donny.

It is a hard concept to expain and I'm not surprised if I missed a bit. Faith is a gift and when I received that gift, it was very precious and I was so afraid of losing it or misusing it that I held it by my own might and in so doing I squeezed Jesus, the Life right out of it. My focus was off of Jesus as I tried to live a righteous life worth of the gift and by doing so I really missed the purpose of that gifted faith. Faith is the gift that keeps on giving. I truly can't hold onto it by force of my own will but when my focus is on Jesus then my faith holds onto me. My will is not may faith even though I at one time, mistook it for such. That was when I still thought I had chosen Jesus rather than knowing that God gave me to Jesus and my choice was only a responsive choice while God's is directive and faith was not of my choosing either but that by which my will is directed by the Father.

I don't know if I did any better, I tried. It is a deep sigh within my spirit as I let go and realize the full reality of me in Christ, and He in God, God in Christ, and Christ in me. This is the substance of faith.
