Our expanding universe
The expansion of the universe has been speeding up in the past 7 billion years, thanks to dark energy. Scientists report that the presence of dark energy — with its unique density and negative pressure — is causing the universe to expand at a faster and faster rate.

Imagine our Milky Way galaxy as a red grape suspended in the orange Jell-O of the universe. To say that the universe is expanding at an ever-increasing rate means that the amount of orange Jell-O expands more today than it did yesterday.

There are many billions of other grapes in the Jell-O — each representing a galaxy in the universe. As the universe expands, the Milky Way and the rest of the galaxies stay the same size because they are held together by gravitational forces. However, the distance between galaxies increases.

Provided that a scientist is in touch with God and would ask Him what this mystery of the "dark energy" is, then the scientist may come close to understand what Hebrew rabbis have taught in oral traditions that predate the Torah ... that the entire cosmos is fixed within a gap of God's Being (His Spirit) wherein a void of God has formed as He compressed His Spirit in every direction. The void (as Genesis declares) is the formless lack-of-God called "waters" by Genesis and the Lord Jesus. God's Spirit was removed from a place within Himself to create the cosmos, and that energy of pulling apart still spins the galaxies toward the perimeter like leaves behind the vacuum of a speeding truck.

The universe is still accelerating as God continues to contract to create an ever-increasing void.

Matthew 13:10-12
10The disciples came to him and asked, "Why do you speak to the people in parables?"

11He replied, "The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them. 12Whoever has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him.

There is a presupposition in many veins of docrinal statements that emphasizes the cosmos even above God. We must be on gaurd against materialistic notions wherein we think for a moment that God's Kingdom is a salvation through diefication of any part of the cosmos.

Luke 17:20-21
Once, having been asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, "The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, nor will people say, 'Here it is,' or 'There it is,' because the kingdom of God is within you."

Imagine a farmer that sows seed and reeps dirt ... and the foolish farmer thinks that what he really should harvest is not the same seed that was sown but the dirt into which it was sown!?! At the harvest the barn is full of dirt, dirt and more dirt? What foolishness that would be! Farmers do not sow seed to reap soil! Likewise our Father in Heaven does not create and sustain the cosmos so that He might reap a harvest of cosmic souls.

Salvation is not God gathering to Himself a big scoop of cosmic souls. The Father is going to gather one thing and one thing only during the harvest ... and that is the exact substance that He sowed (through Jesus) into the cosmos. He does not reap the field (the universe or the occupants of the universe) ... just like any sensible farmer, the Father collects an over-abundance of exactly that which He sows, and NOTHING other then that which He sows. In this case, His Seed is His own Spirit and the increase that He harvests is the Universal Church.

John 18:36
Jesus said, "My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jews. But now my kingdom is from another place."

Do you not see how CRUCIAL it is to be born a second time? The first birth is merely cosmic. Every soul is born of the waters. You MUST be born of the Spirit!

John 3:5
Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit."

John 6:62-64
What if you see the Son of Man ascend to where he was before! The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life. Yet there are some of you who do not believe." For Jesus had known from the beginning which of them did not believe and who would betray him.

What I am saying is that your soul is the place where this SEED from beyond the Universe can germinate and grow ... and grow ... and grow ... like water gushing from a well, overflowing without limits ... like nothing in the finite universe. We are talking about Infinity here ... we are talking about Eternity here. Once inside of you, that Eternity cannot forget you, and will never be without you. It is such an infusion where you actually become ONE with God.

John 17:11
I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name—the name you gave me—so that they may be one AS we are one.

Once you are ONE with Him, by the Spirit, then during the harvest, when the reaping takes place, and EXACTLY what was sown will be reaped, then together with all the saints, you will be taken up to be with Him, because you are ONE with Him.

1 John 3:2 (Amplified Bible)
Beloved, we are [even here and] now God's children; it is not yet disclosed (made clear) what we shall be [hereafter], but we know that when He comes and is manifested, we shall [as God's children] resemble and be like Him, for we shall see Him just as He [really] is.

Are you anticipating to be EXACTLY like God with you see Him as He really is? If not, then you can only anticipate perishing, for God's Kingdom is not cosmic, no matter what some materialistic theologian has told you.

By the Spirit, I KNOW when He is manifested, I will be Exactly, Precisely like Him! And for this, I can only thank the Lord Jesus, for spilling His blood on Calvery!
