An Open Apology

I am sorry if anything I wrote seemed to be refuting Trent's stand in the ABS issue. Trent knows the people involved in the ministry to porn stars and I don't. I can't make a judgement in the issue because I have no first hand knowledge of the intent of either party. I wrote what I wrote because I know from experience how easy it is to be deceived by forms of Christian service. I was trying to convey that it is the condition of the heart that creates legalism and not actions. It was in response to the entry by Trent and others on other blogs that I felt compelled to write what I wrote but it was not done with the intention of refuting Trent.

I do know that Trent's heart is for Jesus and I wouldn't be writing here if I didn't believe that.

In the economy of Jesus, porn stars=law heads and Jesus loves them all.

Pam

p.s. He even loves mouthy old broads!;-}

I didn't think you were refuting Trent, Pam. I just liked the post, and wanted to say Hi.

"Hi!" :)

Hi!:0)

I'm so glad to hear that!

I sort of have an overactive mind and it doesn't take much to send me down a rabbit trail. I can be so intent upon the rabbit that I'm sniffing out that I often forget where the trail began and how my words might effect someone else.

Thanks again!

Pam

Pam,

Please don't apologize for your views. I value your insight moreso when it is corrective. So, test all I say, sis. I got some big old beams in my eye, and you can't afford to be squeemish about speaking up, if you expect to help me with the planks.

No apology needed. And if you intend to avoid refuting me, then that would be a sad thing. I welcome your reproof!
;-)

Ripening,
Trent

Argg! I'm more concerned about being blinded by the planks in my own eyes...

The office of Mom isn't that far from Holy Spirit sometimes and old habbits are hard to break. My intent is always to help you avoid pain that I have already suffered but I'm fully aware that in the process of wanting to protect you as my son in the Lord, I may also become a bigger pain!

It's like I told my oldest son, "The only difference between a Jewish mom and a Rottweiler is that a Rottweiler will eventually let go!" Do you think I might have the makings of a Jewish mom?????

At this stage of life, I am concentrating very hard on letting go...

Love,
Pam

Hey Bill,

Yeah, he's a good kid. Almost like one of my own!

Your know I really enjoy your blog too. I've tried to drop a comment or two but always manage to mess it up somehow. Just wanted to let you know that you are bookmarked!
