Isaac was a daydreamer
Jacob was a liar
Leah was ugly
Joseph was abused
Moses had a stuttering problem
Gideon was afraid
Samson had long hair and was a womanizer
Rahab was a prostitute
Jeremiah and Timothy were too young
David had an affair and was a murderer
Elijah was suicidal
Isaiah preached naked
Jonah ran from God
Naomi was a widow
Job went bankrupt
John the Baptist ate bugs
Peter denied Christ
The Disciples fell asleep while praying
Martha worried about everything
The Samaritan woman was divorced, more than once
Zaccheus was too small
Paul was too religious
Timothy had an ulcer...AND
Lazarus was dead!

Hey Trent,

Have you ever considered how prideful the idea is that we are too bad to be used or even that we are too bad for God to save? We are so good at limiting God and exalting man even when we are feeling bad about ourselves!

Abraham was constantly questioning and doubting God.
Sarah lied to God about laughing at him.
Jacob tried to whip Gods butt.
Job thought he knew more than God.
Adam,Abraham,Sampson,David and Soloman all listened to a woman instead of God.
Everyone in the OT and the NT had their own ideas and doubted God at one time or another.
This sounds like all of us.We doubt God and we doubt ourselves.
Doubt and fear run through are veins and our flesh is truly weak!
Adam is the father of our flesh and God is the Father of our spirit so let us walk in the spirit and thank God for his kind and loving patience with us!
