Grumblers are unspiritual

by Trent from 12/5/05

The spiritual choose love.
The unspiritual threaten with hate.

The spiritual are joyful, and glad.
The unspiritual are grumpy, and complain.

The spiritual are at peace.
The unspiritual are at war.

The spiritual are patient with forbearance, and longsuffering.
The unspiritual are hasty - quick to judge, and long to remember.

The spiritual spontaneously shows kindness.
The unspiritual expect kindness, but are never satisfied with it.

The spiritual display goodness, and benevolence.
The unspiritual display ill temper, and envy.

The spiritual are faithful.
The unspiritual are right ... dead-right.

The spiritual are gentle, meek, and humble.
The unspiritual are vainglorious, challenging, and provocative.

The spiritual demonstrate self-control and sensibility.
The unspiritual demonstrate drama and unconstrained appetites.

Hi Trent..

Wow that is some awesome....

I new there was something wrong with being dead right.. ha ha ...

It reminds me that we can tell someone in love but if we have not love then it is wrong.

In Him

Lori,
That reminds me of what I recently read in Mike Well's mission report:
"Knowledge of flaws, without revelation [of rescue through Jesus,] is just condemnation."

Ripening,

Amen.

Galatians 5:
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance...

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revelings, and such...

...they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
