Now, we stand in the full blaze of the noon daylight!

Hebrews 1

1 God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, 2 has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds;

blaze
As I have said in many posts, that God has spoken to me in a variety of ways. Once by a traffic jam. Another time God spoke to me through a friend's book. There are countless things that God has used to speak to me. Rather than list them all, it suffices to say what Hebrews 1 says ... "various ways." I am sure it is the same for all of God's sheep. But, where does Jesus fit into the picture "these last days?"

Jesus is a special way that God is speaking to us these days. I could go on and on about the uniqueness of Jesus, and I have done so (for example, here and here.) Jesus is the greatest expression of the Father. He alone, can answer those asking to see the Father by saying: "Have I been so long with you, and yet you have not come to know Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; how can you say, `Show us the Father'? 10 "Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on My own initiative, but the Father abiding in Me does His works. 11 "Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me; otherwise believe because of the works themselves." Indeed the Lord is the visible image of the invisible God, as Paul has taught us. One can claim immense knowledge of God by Jesus, but one cannot claim ignorance about God if one is ignorant about Jesus, can they?

Scripture is pretty clear that the Word of God and His revelation is seen clearly throughout the creation, so that nobody can claim ignorance. In short, God speaks in concert through many things, all of which complete a single expression of Truth ... the same Truth that is expressed through the Son, for He is of the Father.

Some people would zealously contend that God is limited, now ... that He is handcuffed because of Hebrews 1, and that all the various ways that God has spoken to us in the past, no longer can be used. This is a terrible comprehension of Hebrews 1, in my opinion ... for we know that God continues to bombard the universe with the knowledge of the Truth. Yes, even now doing so through the Son, whereas He had not done so in times past. The limitation was pre-Bethlehem. The limitation was before the birth of the Lord Jesus. Now, we stand in more light, because the Light has come, and is, and will come again.

Whereever darkness lurks, will He not send even more light? Are we not designed to be His lamps, and lights into the world? Will He keep us in the dark about His comings and goings, or will He treat us as friends?

Joh 15:15 - I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.
Amos 3:7 - Surely the Lord GOD does nothing Unless He reveals His secret counsel To His servants the prophets.
Ac 2:17 - "'In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams."

Wake up! We stand in the last days, and God's Spirit is poured out ... This is not a time where we hear a faint murmur nor lullaby ... but instead a Trumpet ... the alarm of war! Let's crook our necks, cup our ears, and open wide our eyes, for we stand in the full blaze of the noon daylight and God is speaking to as many has have ears to hear, and have not stopped them shut. He is showing mighty things to as many has have eyes to see, and have not squeezed them in a tight squint. Shall we say God is limited, while He is explaining what more and more light He is shedding upon the world? I say we should not ... but that is just me.

Hebrews one says "through prophets at many times and in various ways" or that is the NIV version. Anyway, you are right God can speak to us throught whom-ever or what-ever He chooses. He can even speak to me through a rock if He so desires. Does that mean that the rock is more special than any other rock? If my husband does not hear God speak to him through the rock should I leave him for the rock? Should I separate from my family and friends if they also can't hear God speaking through the rock? Should I leave my church and start a new church centered on that rock? Should I let the rock decide my relationships for me,who I should speak to and who I shouldn't?

To answer Pam's questions ...

Nope.

That would be stupid. That would be like kissing the cheek of the mailman who delivered a parcel ... as if the mailman had anything to do with the parcel.

Yep, pretty stupid.

Equally, as stupid is if the mailman actually though that he had something to do with the parcel.

Most stupid of all would be the neighbor who assumes when they see their next-door neighbor get a parcel, and they become full of jealousy and spite ... sprinting across the street to get a running start to kick the mailman in the nuts, and then slapping the neighbor holding the parcel they knock it to the ground and stomp on it repeatedly until it is bashed in, thinking that they were doing everyone a favor because that mailman was about to have an affair with the parcel receiver when nothing of the sort was going on.

Chain yourself to Jesus, and use slip-knots to all others ... but when another is frothing in the mouth and swinging madly beating the air ... it might be time to cut that cord until that person is no longer a threat to themselves or others.

Ripening,

God has spoken to me in ways that are mind blowing but not always clear at first. I won't go into the details because what I was shown was for the people involved. What I can tell you is I had knowledge of people I had no way to know for I had not meant them yet until minutes after the knowledge was passed down.

At first not having experienced this before I thought I was awful to think such things but in a small amount of time (days) everything that was shown to me came to pass completely true.

This has happened more then once and I have learned that most of the time God is giving me clear understanding to pray and sometimes although hardly ever to intercede. what I know is it has little to do with me and nothing to do with anything I may want.
Nothing I have asked for and if not for God I would be deluded into thinking it was some power I had.

It is still a bit unnerving as I am never aware it is going to happen I just know when it does.

Pam we are all parts of one body, your hands don't need your feet to grab and apple from a low tree but your feet are to stand on so your hands can reach. That is our body as believers. Above all remember you can speak in the lounges of angels, prophesy and have visions but if one has not loved they are just a resounding noise. If what we do is really in the service of our Father and each other God will overflow in anyway He sees fit.

He is the Alpha and Omega there is nothing absent in Him and nothing He needs. He ask we choose our answers.

Who's faith is more the one who hears from God or the one who remains faithful to Him even though there entire walk may seem as if it is always in a valley?

Is it much to say thank you God for this day let us rejoice when there is food and health?
Or is it much more to say thank you God for this day lets us rejoice with empty stomachs and painful bodies?

Liek the old women who gave all she had God and God alone knows the hearts of man. He sees all that we do not and knows all we can not conceive. So for one man this way and another that way they work together for the benefit of the Kingdom or they do not and if not I would suggest they are not from God in the first place for all things work for the greater good.

We love because He loved. We are loved

We can't know the heart of our neighbor unless we set aside our pride and listen to his or her words. I don't envy Timothy. Envy is not a sin that I am prone to. I have plenty other ones to keep me busy. At least now I know why you are turning your back on me. My heart hurts but it is not the first my heart has hurt and I would rather be sent away knowing I had done everything I can to prevent you and Timothy from bringing a lot of pain into your lives needlessly. I am chained to Jesus but not by my own effort. I trust the same is true for both of you so that you can survive and learn from what lies ahead of you. I won't stop praying for either of you.

Mrs. Zeke,

To truly love someone is to love them for their own good and not for our own pleasure. That means that love sometimes demands that we tell our beloved things that they don't want to hear and in desperate situations that may mean even sacrificing that relationship. I am not jelous and I have no desire for greatness within the body of Christ, that was burned away long ago.

Pam I agree words from this beautiful song by All Together Separate remind me of this discussion..

Everybody loves a rose
But will you be thankful for the thorns?
Love is easy when you're loved
But do you curse another when you're alone

(Chorus) Oh, I give my life to you so I can take it back again
Oh, I stand solid while the paradigm is shifting

You say live and let live
But people are dying everyday
And you say what I don't know wont hurt me
But if what I do not know
Is the very thing I need
Then I say....

(Chorus)

Humanity sees truth through a shattered window pane
That blocks the view, and plants the seed
So we draw the curtains to a close but I say
That the sun can still shine
behind a closed mind
And sticks and stones do hurt
When tossed from the tongue of mankind

(Chorus)

Oh, oh I give my life to you so I can take it back again

(Chorus)

Paradigm.....
Paradigm is shifting, is shifting.......away, away

I would rather lose everyone and everything I have ever loved on this earth for the sake of the Kingdom then be accepted by fellow humans. At the same time I am not to be a stumbling block and discourse for the sake of proving my own belief or point is vain. I am not saying you are doing that dear sister I am just trying to say what I am trying to say.

God has shown me some things about people that I did not want to know. But in a way it is simple either we are producing fruit or we are not. The Kingdom benefits or it does not. Love is not a carpet and real honest love in my view is an xray that sees through everything in every hidden corner painful or not.

be loved you are

Thank you, sis. See you around, for sure in the Kingdom when all is revealed and all misunderstandings set straight. True Love will cover it all.
