Zero.
There is no chance that God will accept anyone by any basis other than faith in God's redeeming sacrifice through His only begotten on the cross of calvary.
His own blood spilled.
His own heart stopped in death.
Spat upon, stripped, taunted, beaten, insulted, abused as love and forgiveness filled His heart (even for those that crushed Him.)
If there is any other basis for acceptance that might have been thought of before the crucifixion, doesn't His death perish those thoughts? We were bought with the greatest price that can be paid ... and that price would not have been paid, if there was some simple way to accomplish the same thing.
Knowing about the death of Jesus and entertaining the notion that there could still be other ways to find approval and acceptance, seems to me to be a insult to God. Could there be a greater insult? I have my doubts.
In Him is peace, righteousness, justification, sanctification, and grace. Freely given to as many as would say "thanks" and take it / relying upon Him. Many look for other ways to His own bitter sorrow and heart-wrenching sadness, but to as many as look to Him and His propitiation at Calvary, there is blessing upon blessing ... grace upon grace ... a treasure beyond compare in the Gift above all gifts. He fulfills all that we look for elsewhere in vain. He is where all the longings of the heart are fulfilled.
His name is Jesus Christ the Lord - Yah-Shua (God Saves, as spoken in the Hebrew tongue!) There is none like Him! Embrace the Lord with all humility, knowing that what He has redeemed is redeemed. Acceptance and love awaits without any hindrance.
Beloved, there is nothing we can do to improve upon our redemption, so let us be thankful.
He is the Way, and every other way is not the Way.
Behold the Lamb of God! Without spot or blemish sent to die for the sins of the world, bearing the full weight of transgression in His own body. My Son, you are, and will always be, the Risen Lamb of God, whereby you took the leaven of the world, having completely unleavened all men once for all time by your blood, having been the perfect sacrifice for sin, acceptable to God, whereby men have been reconciled to the Father; they themselves becoming once again My sons and daughters free to enter the Garden and My love, which they shall never again be separated; their new life lived in and for Christ Jesus, the Lord and Savior, in whom I am well pleased. ~ God [Letters from God and His Christ - Volume 5 - Unleavened]
