Jesus Vs. Not Jesus - Round 4

The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear minded and self-controlled so that you can pray.
Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.
Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling.
Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms.
If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen. - Jesus ... see (1 Peter 4:7-11)

The end of all things will never come. Therefore, blindly adhere to what you know nothing about, and be zealous so that you can influence.
Above all, have an intense and unfailing criticism of those who need it, for "concern" exposes the offenses of others.
Demand hospitality, and gripe until you get your way.
Nobody can have special gifts or spiritual fruit, to offer anyone. So, when we speak, we shouldn't think that God is relevant to in the choosing of words. You can figure out what everyone needs, so serve it up with the strength mustered in the energies of your flesh, so that if any good comes from it you can take full credit. - not Jesus

Yeppers, Trent....
I'm gonna go with Jesus again.

On paragraph two: I think I remember reading something about these people in the New Testament....the Pharisees. :S I'm familiar at some point with this mindset...because it is of the flesh...and we all fight this battle. Hey, let's say a big thank you to the guest of the evening.....Grace. :) Ladies and Gents, I think I've found her in paragraph ONE!!

Em,

My expertise in all of the trappings of the carnal Christian can only be gained through experience. I am preaching my own funeral at this site. The reason that I talk so much about grace and love, and avoiding the pride of religion is because it is the very thing that I never seem to do.

I talk about abiding in the Lord, because that is where I fail.
etc, etc.

It really does "take one to know one" , ya know. But in all these weaknesses, they are not the end of the story. Each moment of each day, I have One who cares enough to deliver me from my carnality, as often as I turn to Him. Victory is in Jesus (and that is not a theory.)

Ripening,
Trent

By God's Grace, I was taught to fear God, in that my eyes were opened to His Power over me and indeed over everything. Then through Grace, that fear was relieved as in Jesus, I found Love I had never before known and fear was washed away as my heart began to cry, "Father!" and now, "Daddy!". I love my Daddy because He first loved me and by the Power of His Grace revealed His true Identity to me.
