How to remain exactly the same ...

staleWant to know nothing, and learn even less? Well, a stagnant life awaits you ...

Here is how ...

"Do you want to be healed?" - Jesus

When asked this ... just bristle to that question and reply: "Healed from what? There is nothing wrong with me, you judgmental know-it-all!"
That is a perfect way to remain exactly as you are.

Nobody accepts a cure without first the conviction of an illness, right?

Thus it is out of love that the Father would bring some low, so that they might be exalted ... for a hard-heart will not withstand His ways ... it will soften itself under duress or it will grind away to nothing. We each decide how much we can take, thus all those that perish have taken that decision for themselves, as have all those that will cry out for rescue (just as each of these will receive it.)

I am full of holes, broken, seeping, oozing. Please Lord Yeshua, heal this broken vessel and make me whole again. Yes, I do desire to be healed myself....we all need healing, even in our grandest of moments.

Freebird,

Always.

Never arriving, always going forth .. for to remain in the nearness of the Lord is healing, so let me abide there ... perpetual healing.

There is a first healing, and thereafter a perpetual healing ... so a bath and then a foot washing after the bath to borrow an example from the Gospels.

Or take one hand an wrap it around your wrist ... the hand tingles, goes numb, and goes black and eventually dies and falls off ... for the healing is in the blood, no matter if enough toxins exist in one fingertip to kill a dozen men ... the blood washes it clean ... a perpetual healing.

Likewise, I have been healed, and I am healed, and I will be healed forever more ... and yes, I want it. Why would any reject it ... choosing death, over life. Yet many do.
What about you?

(your email address did not work when I tried to reply.)

Emily,
Amen. Being healed does not mean off and running apart from Him, nor the need of Him ... Healing is the infusion of the Healer, Himself .. a perpetual and lasting series of events and pattern of healing ... not a one-time-fix.
It is a "each-time-fix."
:-)

It is the strong man that chooses love and forgiveness through sacrifice of himself and his own desires, not following after the ungodly men of this world. His justification is in the Lord and he chooses to follow Me...in My very footsteps. ~ Jesus [Letters from God and His Christ - Volume 6 - Keep Not the Company of the Wicked, This is Where All Seeds of Dissension Grow]
