Victory!

I awake to pain and the weariness of facing another day of pain engulfs me as sorrow descends. However, I belong to Jesus and sorrow cannot drown me. Instead, my sorrow lifts me to Jesus and there I am warmed by the radiance of the Father. There I bask in His Love and find empathy for my pain and forgiveness for my weakness. I am filled anew by His Spirit and sorrow has passed away to joy. On eagle's wings I rise and am lifted far above all that threatens me to my seat in the heavenlies, in Christ, at the Father's right hand. There I rest in the sure hope of healing as I come to Him daily for healing.

I go about my day. Another day preordained for me to walk by faith and not by sight. Another day to live to the glory of God in what-so-ever He has set before me to do.

This is the victory won by faith, that though weak and weary, the world and all that Satan has set against me will not overcome me. Through Christ Jesus, I will overcome; and all that is my life, the pain and the comfort, the sorrow and the joy, the hopelessness and the hope, my life and my death, are all precious in the sight of my Lord Jesus and in Him have purpose. All that I am is set to give glory to God.
