Recipe for Pleasing God

from Matthew 3 ...

3:17
"... and behold, a voice out of the heavens said, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased."

In short ... be the "in whom" and be pleasing ...

Jesus was pleasing to the Father. Baptism of Jesus
Apart from Him we have no hope of being pleasing.

In the Lord Jesus ... we are pleasing to the Father ... and His pleasure is fulfilled by hiding us away in Him.

Ephesians 1

1:6b
"He has made us accepted in the Beloved."

I love that TRUTH: "HE has MADE us [by His Blood and by HIS LIFE] HE HAS MADE us acceptable in the Beloved." (!) ACCEPTABLE and RECEIVED BY THE FATHER *because of what JESUS has done on our behalf." ... PRAISE HIS NAME FOREVER !!!

What of the wicked and the heathen? Shall they be equal to the redeemed? No, they shall be cast out and burned with fire, unless they come to repentance before the One True God, in the Sons name. ~ God [Letters from God and His Christ - Volume 2 - Let the Lord Lead, You Only Need Follow...Let Go of Your Pride]
