As you say, the Passover is a foreshadowing of future events and every time I read it, I see something new. This morning as I read how the Passover is to be eaten, with loins girded, shoes on, and in haste, I was given the impression that this is how saints who will live through the Great Tribulation period will be required to hold to their faith and just as the Death angel passed over the Children of Israel, so too will those future saints be preserved and passed over. It is the body and the blood of Jesus that will preserve His people during that time.
