Keep the Passover, Says the Lord of Hosts!

3/20/06 From God the Father and Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ -
A Letter Given to Timothy, For All Those Who Have Ears to Hear

Keep the Passover, Even All Seven Holy Days Set Forth by the Father and You Will Begin to Know and Understand the Glory of God and His Christ

[God] Thus says the Lord God of Israel: Keep the Passover. Keep it according to the New Covenant. Keep it in faith and love. Forsake these vanities of men, false doctrines taken from that which is unseemly in the eyes of the Lord your God. Unleaven yourselves and give Me perfect praise, pure worship in Christ your Sanctuary. Keep this Feast of Unleaven also, seven days as an offering of thanks for Him who I sent to you, the very same who has removed all leaven from within you.

My children, Jesus the Christ, Yeshua is His name, is your Passover!

[More:]

How is it that you do not remember Him according to how He, Himself, has shown you? Stop following the world and the perverse doctrines of men. Return to your First Love, and remember. For upon this one sacrifice rests the salvation of all mankind...the Lamb of God who has taken away the sins of the world. Yet I do not see you, even you who call yourselves by the Christ’s name, keeping that which I, even I, have set forth that you should keep, even all seven (the Holy Days). Know you not, in these seven is wisdom and understanding...yea, the very mind of God. Yet you choose vanities on top of vanities. You are a perverse and adulterous generation, even all of you who call yourselves by My own name, the name I have given My Son, the Holy One of Israel.

[Jesus] I tell you the truth, the time is coming, and is already here, when I shall pass through the door and reap, for the harvest is ripe, and many shall be left wanting, in tears. So then, prepare yourselves and make ready, for the age of men is finished and judgement shall reign seven times. And then the end shall come, which shall also be the beginning.
I am not of this world...My children, you are of this world. And so, all those, who love and accept Me, are no longer of this world, for I reside in them. And if I am in you, how is it you do not follow Me? For if you follow Me, you would do as I did, and learn from those I sent out bearing the Gospel of My own name. Follow Me, beloved, follow Me!...I shall bring you into glory.
I am coming quickly...yea, I am already here. Though you do not yet behold My face, I have never left you, beloved. Yet I am coming quickly, and all those, who are truly converted in their hearts, shall be caught up and never leave Me, nor shall they be separated from Me ever again. And these same ones shall also return with Me in all My glory, and not just them, but all those who I shall gather up, who did not love their lives more than Me, who sang the song of their new hearts, even unto death, even all these during the times of great tribulation.
So then, beloved, even all those who call of themselves by My own name as I had received of the Father, keep the Passover in remembrance of Me, even all of the Father’s most Holy Days, according to Me, and you shall begin to know My glory.

Behold, I am coming quickly to fulfill and restore all things!

As I am holy, may you also be holy, and do that which is holy.

Know this: Four are fufilled -
salvation assured, sin and death overcome, the Spirit given.
Three are coming quickly -
sin destroyed, evil bound, My seat taken,
judgement...

A new day, even one thousand years.

Then a short season....consummation....

An everlasting day in the Lord.

Amen and amen.

4/18/05 From Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ -
A Letter Given to Timothy, For All Those Who Have Ears to Hear

I Am the Passover and Its Lamb...A New Covenant With Men

I am He who is called the Lamb of God, the Lamb from Heaven without any spot or blemish, given as a ransom for many so that death will pass over you, and you shall live forever. My blood is the blood shed for you to place upon your door, so you may be spared. No one goes to the Father unless they eat of the flesh of the Lamb, and drink His blood. Do this in remembrance of Me and My covenant with you, for I have already accomplished it and sealed it forevermore upon My rising. I am no longer the Lamb, but the Risen One, the Holy One of Israel, the Lion of the tribe of Judah. The Lamb was slain, My people redeemed in all the earth. I am risen forever and ever, clothed in glory and praise. So too will My people be clothed in glory, for they are cleansed and will be like the angels of Heaven in that Day.
So, My children of Zion, celebrate Passover, but not as in the days of Moses, for even I, Christ the Lord, did keep this Sabbath before My death...and by My death and resurrection as the Lamb, did I become the new Passover, sacrificed for all. Celebrate Passover as a remembrance and as a thanksgiving of you and I united, for in the past you were separated from Me...now we are together again, forever in the kingdom prepared by the Father. Know this, even Passover has passed away...I am the Passover, for he who believes in Me has everlasting life. Keep this Sabbath as commanded by the Father. Passover as it was written in the days of Moses, do it not. Remember Me, and embrace and teach My covenant, and give thanks. The Passover as it was written is a sign post. Read its writing, and have understanding. Take its meaning to heart.

Your Redeemer lives...
death has passed over you.
The Lamb was slain so you might live.
Eat and drink and give thanks in remembrance of Me,
and I shall remember you and gather you up
and hold you close to Me.

Amen.

***We should keep what God has set aside for us, the Holy Days, for in these is their a greater joy and understanding in the knowing that Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of all things! And nothing that man has made can come close to the glory of what God has planned for those who love Him, forshadowed and revealed in the 7 Holy Days of God.

God has given us seven annual festivals, or feast days, on which to worship and honor Him. By observing them according to His Word and Christ, we can understand His ultimate plan for humanity. These holy days include Passover, the Feast of the Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Pentecost, the Feast of Trumpets, the Day of Atonement, the Feast of Tabernacles and the Last Great Day, of which ALL FIND THEIR FULFILLMENT IN CHRIST. Mention of all seven holy days are found in both the Old Testament (Leviticus) and the New Testament (throughout the New Testament).

From God the Father, given to Timothy:
[God] The seven are the Plan of the Ages, and are all in all manifest through Christ who shall bring them to actualization...three have passed, one is, and three are to come.

Final note from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, given to Timothy:
[Jesus] So then My children, seek to please My Father in all your ways. For He is also your Father, as I am your Father. He who obeys the Father comes to Me and I show him the way. I am the Good Shepherd. I separate My sheep from evil and shelter them in My Father..s barn. So then, so shall you separate yourself from all things of evil and this world. Fall not into temptation, call on My name and I shall set a hedge about you and hide you and keep you until I come and deliver you from these evils.

The Lord takes away and that left open to Him is filled with living water.
I am He who takes away your burden which is sin,
and lightens that within you through My Spirit and Truth.
You wish for holy days (holidays) to honor Me...
I have given seven, plus one which falls on Saturday of each week, which is the seventh day.

Remember My children, those who have planted their feet in uprightness before the Lord, testifying on My behalf, may no longer walk where others walk. This is where iniquity and hypocrisy abounds.

Thus has the Lord spoken, so shall we do. Their is no debate, rather we only lack understanding of that which Paul wrote. Paul kept the Passover and understood its significance in Jesus Christ being its fulfillment, even calling Jesus our Passover.
But most importantly Jesus both kept and commanded His followers to keep the Passover in remeberance of Him....
There is no debate. The question is to obey the Word of the Lord or not.

And yes brother, in keeping of the Holy Days is God's and Jesus' glory revealed with a deeper meaning in the understanding that these were a shadow of things to come, the very Plan of the Ages in the salvation, reconciliation and restoration of all mankind.

Yet in obeying the Lord we must do more than keep the Holy Days according to the New Covenant, we must also forsake man's "holidays", falsely called so, for they are abomination in the eyes of God. This includes Christmas, Easter, Halloween, etc. Even all all "holidays" that are of pagan origin.

God is no respector of persons, rather all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior are the same as the Jews, even to the point of being grafted into the place were the Jews of descent once occuppiied, having been cut out because of their denial of the Messiah Yeshua. So then, all those who are covered in and drink of the blood of Jesus and eat His flesh are Jews having become adopted sons of Abraham, even sons of the Most High God by Christ. Amen.

Hi Timothy,

What you have written here is what I have thought things would be like during the Millenial Rule which I've been taught will be a new operation of the Holy Spirit that will be within and also without as the Jews and the Chruch will be made one in Christ Jesus. The Holy Days will not be kept during that time as outward observance only but also be celebrated spirituall within. Personally, I am the kind of person that one day is like another but the Lord has convicted me about keeping pagan holidays during this present time as paganism is on the rise and I don't want to confuse people as to Who I worship. I celebrate the Passover in spirit every day for I am in Christ and Death will pass over me.

This is a lot to think about.

Again Jason, their is no room for debate. God has commanded me and now you and so I obey. Jesus already told you in the Bible to Keep the Passover. The disciples and early church kept the passover. Your debate is with yourself in your deciding, first, whether or not I am a prophet and speak God's words; and secondily, if so, then shall you obey or obey not.

But if you wish to have greater understanding, this I can help you with. For as Pam said we should keep Passover inwardly each day, but we must ALSO keep it according to how God has commanded us and on the specific days...and yes even the Gentiles are to keep it. (See the following)

The Bible specifies the yearly observance of the Passover, and history records its annual celebration as the practice of the early Church. Passover, as a memorial of Jesus’ death, is to be observed annually rather than whenever or however often one chooses, just as all of the other annual festivals are to be kept once a year. Neither Jesus Christ nor the apostles indicated that we should change when or how often we observe any of God’s festivals.
Following their example, today we should observe the Passover at the beginning of the evening of the 14th day of the first month (Abib,or Nisan) of the Hebrew calendar.
During His last Passover with His disciples, Jesus explained that this celebration has significant implications for the future as well. In Matthew 26:29 He told them, “I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s kingdom.”
Keeping the Passover each year reminds us that God is the forgiver of sin who grants us eternal life in His Kingdom through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, our Passover. This observance is a memorial of our Creator’s continuing role in humanity’s salvation.

God said this day would be to the Israelites a memorial, “and you
shall keep it as a feast to the LORD throughout your generations. You shall keep it as a feast by an everlasting ordinance” (Ex 12:14). Bible writers later explained that the annual Passover observance symbolized Christ. Paul referred to Christ as “our Passover” (1 Corinthians 5:7), and John recorded that John the Baptist recognized Christ as “the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” (John 1:29).

Jesus came not to destroy the Law but to fulfill (Mat. 5:17)! Only the laws found in ordinances were nailed to the cross of Christ (Eph. 2:15).

Paul told the Gentiles to keep Passover and how to keep it in Cor. chapter 11, do to their lack of comprehension:

The first-century congregation of Corinth did not understand the significance of the Passover. They observed it "in an unworthy manner," not "discerning the Lord's body" (verses 27 and 29); they did not comprehend its real meaning.
Because of their lack of understanding, Paul warned the Corinthians they could be "guilty of the body and blood of the Lord," and if they failed to properly judge themselves they would be "eat[ing] and drink[ing] judgment" to themselves (verses 27, 29).
Paul took the Passover ceremony seriously. His warning makes it clear that Christians should not only observe what Christ commanded, but should understand the meaning of eating the bread and drinking the wine at the Passover service. It is vital that we understand the intent behind Jesus Christ's commands concerning the Passover. Christ said that unless we (symbolically) eat His flesh and drink His blood, we have no life in us (John 6:53). It is that important.
Once each year, on the anniversary of the night on which one of Jesus' own disciples betrayed Him, Christians should recall and contemplate the meaning of Christ's death through the observance of the Passover service (1 Corinthians 11:26). Paul told the Corinthian members that "Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us" (1 Corinthians 5:7).

The Passover service commemorates the death of Jesus Christ. By participating in the service, we personally proclaim the death of our Savior (1 Corinthians 11:26). We acknowledge that His dying paid the death penalty for us (Ephesians 5:2).
While the "blood" and "body" of Christ refer to the same sacrifice, Jesus Christ shows there is a clear distinction in the meaning attached to each of the two words.
Representing that differentiation are the two specific symbols: bread and wine. Let's examine the special significance of Christ's body and blood as represented by the two simple, unadorned aspects of the observance.

*The rest I will post at a later date when my wife and I are finished with the Passover Bible study.

Timothy,

This is a very good clarification. I think Communion or the Lord's Supper is not often thought of as a Passover ordinance by most Christians. Most of us observe without a really clear meaning as to why.

Here are my brief and simple observations on this one: WE SHOULD DESIRE TO OBEY THE LORD and HONOR HIM in *the true meaning and keeping* of the Passover/Communion meal, ... as also we should desire to OBEY Him in all things: including HIS DESIGNATED holy days: Sabbaths and Feasts [Appointments] with THE LORD Yeshua-YahOvah.

Why chaffe at something THE LORD has so clearly commanded AS A MEANS OF BLESSING and MEETING WITH HIM? - it is given ENTIRELY TO & FOR our benefit. (!)

Thanks, Timothy, for your insights. These are excellent teachings, ... and how also to avoid the pagan-influences that have infiltrated the churches over CENTURIES of time.

blessings and kind regards,

Yes Len, let us always strive to fulfill all righteousness in accordance with the Word of God, with nothing added or taken away, but only do what the Lord would have us do for His own glory.

Let us honor Him in all our ways and worship Him, giving Him the worship He really wants and in the way in which He Himself set forth that we shall do.

Let us worship Him in "spirit and in Truth". Amen.

And *for all such things* which THE LORD requires of us {as His redeemed servants and people} it is both right and reasonable that we should desire to OBEY. ... and DO according to His Will and commandments. - for they are not grievious, but A BLESSING and A DELIGHT to the soul of those who love Him IN SPIRIT and IN TRUTH.

Amen.
