I am frustrated. I had your email from Trent but I deleted it. I am reading your book and have a couple of questions. I hope you don't mind my asking them here.

First I am interested in your stating that in seven years the Lord shall return and that in six years the nations shall fall. Do you believe that the Tribulation has already begun? Is this seven year period derived at by what is commonly taught as the seven weeks of Daniel, a period of time when God will again work through His chosen people the Jews? I am also confused as to why you would be called an apostle since I view the purpose of the apostles as that of establishing the church. I am confused as to why the church would need to be re-established especially now that we are so near the end of the age of grace. Also, though I do believe that God raises up persons to whom He gives special insight into prophecy, I am a bit troubled as to why anyone would be given the title, prophet during this time, which I believe to be still in the age of grace but near the end. It is this scripture that causes me to be troubled by it and I hope you won't be offended by my asking you to clarify your position. Hebrews 1:1&2In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days He has spoken to us by His Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom He made the universe.

I have heard teaches such as Hal Lindsey called prophets but have always thought of them more as teachers of prophecies and not like the Prophets of the OT, through whom God spoke to His people who were not indwelt by the Holy Spirit as those of us in Christ are. Do you regard yourself as a special prophet as in the OT or as a teacher of prophesy as it is already revealed in scripture. I do believe that believers can be gifted with the spiritual gift of prophecy and that there are those that God gives special insight into future events. I also believe that God will gift a believer in many ways over his/her lifetime in order to serve His purposes. I would appreciate your clarifying your beliefs on this and the purpose of your calling. Thank you, Timothy.
