I had a great discussion going a while back called "How do you know God's voice" or something like that. This one may turn out to be the opposite. How do you know your perspective is not that of Truth?
Here is a short list, you can help me finish it:
Error will confuse you about what really matters or is of true value even if it is hard to deny.
Error will leave you with a derogatory impression about yourself.
Error will leave you with a derogatory impression about others.
Error will leave you with a derogatory impression about the the past or future condition and current circumstance.
Error makes your neck stiff and eye-balls hurt (and possibly bleed.) (OK, this one is a strectch.)
Error is not easily dismissed sometimes and it takes you for a ride that could be as long as you have lived, but that ride seems to terminate in despair or ruin.
Error is never mingled with hope.
Error never ends at the feet of God.
Sometimes, I don't know what is erroneous and sometimes I see the hoax for what it is. But I am still armed to deal with the error when I know that is what it is, even if I don't know how it is wrong. It is enough to know that it is wrong, and reject it even if I don't understand what is wrong about it. But understanding usually follows as well.

LaShelle, there is no sin too great that I have not forgiven you. I sent My Son to die for you and raised Him so you may have eternal life with Me.Repent and accept My Son and I will separate your sins from you as far as the east is from the west, and remember your iniquities no more. Open your heart to Me and I will fill it with running waters of joy, love and peace. ~ God [Letters from God and His Christ - Volume 1 - Boundless Love]
